No. ATT exclusive by contract with apple, no sim card. You can hack it to make it unlocked. That takes time, and probably instructions from a website but it can be done.

I would say just if u want one now, pickup a refurb for $100 off! If you can wait, wait for rev 2.0, but I do not see them dropping the price or releasing a new one or cheaper model within the next 10 months.

Remember, there are almost 1million of us who have a 2 YEAR contract with this phone. at&t and apple are NOT dumb and prolly plan for 2.0 when all of our contracts end.

I like my iphone and the features. There are a bunch of things I dislike about the phone, but I still think its the best phone. Its small, sleek, music, photo, and more. I tell everyone to goto a at&t or apple store and play with 1 for 30minutes. If you like it, go for it. As for the 2 year contract, u can always try the prepaid model. google iphone prepaid. Enjoy!

The iphone does play online videos. Only if those videos run on Quicktime. If they don't then you can't watch them. Test it on apple dot com and look for iphone videos. Such as finger tips.

Well, it depends on what you want to use it for. I love being a google away from something and its great for those quick movie lookups or news/weather or just checking the mail. I am (lucky) enough to have someone else footing the bill, but I know that I would have bought it myself if they werent. So I would say if your a geek or someone who likes to have access to the internet or wants to watch video podcasts, GET IT I LOVE my IPHONE!
