All independent studies have shown that the do not decrease the spread of STD or teen pregnancy, but the do slightly increase the time before for having sex, by ~6 months at which point the studies with abstinence only education are more likely to have unprotected sex... Abstinence education is not teaching how to have safe sex, only avoid sex. Sex is a natural biological urge - teach the kids how to do it safe.

All independent studies have shown that the do not decrease the spread of STD or teen pregnancy, but the do slightly increase the time before for having sex, by ~6 months at which point the studies with abstinence only education are more likely to have unprotected sex... FAIL!

I have to say I'll support anything that would promote some form of discipline in teenagers. My cousin got pregnant at 17, the kids father is in jail now, and she just leaves him with other family members to take care of him while she goes out and fucks around with more guys. It really pisses me off, as the kid is being taught that this is alright, and he will probably do something similar when he's a teenager and get nowhere in life. Fuck morality, this is plainly destructive behavior.
