@eishiba yup making my own too :D you need tournament compiler for it, then rob wrote a whole list of how you can make on via that. search it via google somewhere.
I downloaded this, but I'm gonna finish up World and maybe do another lower end tourney just to make some cash before giving this a go, and trade in my Jag for an Electra or Garg.
So, is there any user made tourneys that are exceptional?
Also, what's your settings in game? Whenever I pull off shadow moves, the game seems to lag a bit. Is that normal? It's not a question of cycles.
Reducing shadow quality seems to stop the lag, but then they stop looking like shadow moves or the Jag flip.
Also - you could do with hacking the game and giving all the opponents double stats - makes it more of a challenge. Its easy enough to do just get the tourney compiler and then load in and modify the world champoinship and super-buff everyone's stats. If you give them enough agility they can jump 3 times the height of the screen and hit you 5 or so times a second. Much more of a challenge.
you mean like more than the full amount on a regular game? How does one do that? I always kept my stats lower than everyone elses in tournemant mode just to make it more challenging.
That's some nice comboing but your play is quite boring and wouldn't work on higher speed settings. If you want more of a challenge turn the master speed control up a notch or two from there. I did it and (along with turning off rehit and hyper modes) it made the game much harder and more satisfying, you don't have so much time to think so you just have to be much much quicker. Try playing through world championship with speed up enough to you can hit a few times a second. That's fun.
i was wondering..... how do you manage to do that leaping stuff and right after finishing the kick in the air.... i've tried many times but it doesnt happens...
I used to play this game for hours and hours on end. I was about this good back in the day, I really need to download and relive this classic and unappreciated fighter.
I think this custom tournament is made by some fans, not the designers. Mind you, this game was done by only two people. Rob Elam and Ryan Elam. Of course musics and sounds were different, but still.
I must admit that you are very good, but that's really no wonder because you use rehit mode and seem to have played A LOT of OMF (unlike me). Anyway very respectable skills. But you still have 7 more unranked challengers to win.
Actually I don't use rehit mode normally. I put it on, since I saw so many supercombo tricks on youtube. :P For me it's practically nothing. As you can see against Grim Reaper and Tooth Fairy, they get more attacks against me with rehit, I just get one hit when I make concussion blast + shadow jaguar leap + kick.
@Deussu Seeing as how you have the enhancements for the Jag, have you tried the double jaguar leap? From the looks of it you could do more damage with this combo: concussion blast + shadow jaguar leap + jaguar leap + overhead throw.
cant argue with this game. all the elements made up perfection!! Jaguar FTW!
