I'm kinda tall, so entry was an issue, hit my head a couple of times, but I've owned many similar small cars before and it was never a problem before

Liked the bolt-action shifter, the front seats, and handling.

Power was good, but it didn't like starting in 2nd, which I thought the electric motor would cover

The other thing was those THINGS behind the front seats! I couldn't own a car with seats that AREN'T seats!

i just went to honda to check out the interior of the cr-z and this one had no back seat.. and im in canada... maybe they have the option to add them if u wish... but im not sure yet .. still have to check into it some more but even then im defenetly buying ... dont need speed to be a great looking eco drving car,,,!!

It's a really nice choice for everyday driving and yet much less boring as the standard looking 4 door sedans. The only thing I hate about it it's the suspension, way too bumpy compare to Accord.

Btw, the car comes with 8 year warranty on the battery, which means you won't have to worry about it ever.

im about to get this car but the only thing i dont like about it, is that the US model brings a storage bin instead of the rear seats who needs that much storage c'mon Honda, unlike UK and Japan has rear seats, does anyone know if i can remove the storage bin and add the rear seats, and will that affect the warranty cause i think that would be modifying the car??

I bought mine last Saturday and LOVE it!!! I got a silver EX. So far, I've averaged 35+ MPG on my first tankful of gas. I traded in a 2007 Mini Cooper S, which was an absolute disaster. Needed a new engine before it was even 3 years old.  Got it back from the dealer and traded it in the next day. The CR-Z may not be as fast, but it's a lot more fun and much more solid-feeling.

Need a real engine and THEN it would sell good in the USA, Americans just dont like any hybrids unless its a Prius and they are major hippies or old people. Honda sales fail miserably on his hybrids and just get cancelled. Need a beefy engine and Id REALLy concider buying one for a DD.

@drakewingfire I just checked out your country's Honda, and judging from the pictures it seems they might not have rear seats like in the US... (I might be wrong though) I don't know why they will do that. Well, if you can have the rear seats, the most comfortable way I found to sit there was to put my elbow on the other seat and kind of lean there. :)

the reason behind them not having the back seats in the US is because it is illegal for them to sell a car with out headrest.. stupid i know...give it time and they will just add back headrest for the US models.

@chitaka2000 While at the local Honda dealership in the US, I heard one salesperson say that something about the rear seats caused the CR-Z to not pass US safety standards. It seemed like it's the added weight of having a fully loaded (4 person) car or something, which is apparently also why they don't offer a sunroof in the US. One person said there was a 400 lb weight limit even, but I don't know if there's a whole lot of truth to that (about 181kg).

but: the revlimiter starts at 6500rpm, thats not a honda engine for me...
