It takes a certain musical taste to be able to listen to the Cult of Static album and I am proud to have that. This, I must say, is better than Static-X' last album (from what I've heard) and I can't wait to actually get it. I will always love Wayne's music, regardless of who it's made with.

@Wasitthechad81 Wayne Static IS Static-X. He wrote nearly every song they released, the music and the lyrics. He did the vocals, guitar, keyboards and programming of the band. No matter what band Wayne chooses to be with, it will just be another version of Static-X.

@SpesMorte hiatus? Tony Campos quit the band and is now a full-time member of Soulfly. Koichi has found another project The Drugstore Fanatics and stated he is no longer involved with Static-X and Nick isn't saying much, but it's speculated he has left the band as well. So yes, Static-X is broken up.

@SpesMorte Nick was actually the 1st to go, (The "Stingwray" video & all tours post their lasted album was done with a different drummer) Koichi & Campos are in different bands now, & I read somewhere that bewteen all of them (more specifically Campos correct me if I'm wrong) really had a bad falling out with Wayne & Tera, Mr. Static hitched up with the always wonderful Tera Wray, wrote an album about her, had her on tour, & shit hit the fan with the rest of the band.. :'( R.I.P Static X
