I apologize for my previous comment, now I have a different opinion about that.
Now I acknowledge that some people are born with a sexual orientation, but not all people is, some poeple sexual orientation is set at puberty by other factors not related to birth. So still, saying "I was born (insert sexual orientation name here)" is not a true statement, is more like a guess, a half lie as most people that says that has no way to prove if their orientation was born or set later.

I understand it to mean that someone is deliberately telling an untruth even though they know the truth to knowingly mislead someone. If someone tells an untruth believing it to be true, I define that as a mistake, not a lie.
To me to lie is a 'Sin' and a very strong word, a mistake is just a mistake and can be forgiven.
