  • hmm i love the french language, so pretty. But is it me or do most of the words sound like sexual grunts?

  • Execllent tutoriel, néanmoins je te reproche une seule chose : 'tu n'a pas bien prononcé la lettre 'e' au tout début. Il ne pas faut confondre les débutants.

  • there is something u forgot.. its the translation of everything ur saying ur just making us memorize the verbs and pronouns but ur not explain what every pronoun is used for such as je= I - vous= you...etc

if i was a total beginner i wouldnt understand anything but memorizing stuff -.- well thank god i know a bit of french other than that ur video would be perfect

    merci beaucoup

  • annoying...

  • I have watched this video "again and again" with great pleasure. Love this guy's voice. Don't know if I'll ever speak French fluently, but imagiers has helped me make great progress with the language.

  • big THANK YOU!!!

  • I have tried Rosetta Stone, Fluenz, Coffee Break French, Babbel, LingQ, etc. And I have been searching for a video based podcast (so I can visualize what they are talking about esp. with grammar) that has a NATIVE FRENCH SPEAKER not an English speaker that learned French and is now teaching me. I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!

    Merci beaucoup, imagiers!

  • I do german and the french alphabet is so similar to german :') french is also the language we speak where im born but i moved to an english country and lost it (n)

  • J"aime francais beaucoup

  • LOL I guess I'm not the only one learning French to score a girl ;)

  • @TheIRONGIANT531

Hi!! If you really want to score a girl, learn and start speaking Greek, why??? Bcs, Greek language is more romantic and more macho language at the same time, than the faggy melodic French, as in Greek spoken words there is no faggy sounds (SH , CH e.t.c ) that make your lips rounded and make you look like a sissy boy trying to seduce a girl. And of course, bcs in Greek you have all the basic and original words of profound meanings, Give a try!!

  • @APOLLONASMOUSIKOS Yeah.. Kinda won't work when the girl is from France ;) thank's anyway though.

    Xo-Yona

  • they should make this video for various languages

  • Merci

  • I've been wondering, if it is hard, to learn French. How long would it take to get some basics in French. So far I've learned English, German, Spanish and Swedish.

    Greetings from Croatia

  • latin and germanc based languages are the best!

    this lesson helps a lot!

  • Once you learn French it could be easier also to learn Portuguese as you can see how the number are written from 1 to 20: Um – Dois – Três – Quatro – Cinco – Seis – Sete – Oito – Nove – Dez – Onze – Doze – Treze – Quatorze – Quinze – Dezesseis – Dezessete – Dezoito – Dezenove - Vinte

  • En algunas áreas el idioma francés es similar al español. Por ejemplo los números en español del 1 al 20: uno – dos - tres – cuatro – cinco – seis – siete – ocho –nueve - diez – once – doce – trece –catorce – quince – dieciséis – diecisiete – dieciocho – diecinueve - veinte. In some areas the French language is similar to Spanish. As you can the number written in spanish from 1 to 20.

  • are there any good sites to learn french?

  • I would love this in German :D

  • merci pour les efforts

  • I like your video very much. It is very helpful! I started to learn French 1 week ago and I enjoy it !!! So, thank you very much!

  • Does anyone know any good French speaking software? I only know a few words and that's just about it. I'm already good with Spanish. I don't mind learning French.

  • @bolden212 Software, expensive but proven, is Rosetta Stone, websites like Busuu.com are cheaper in the short term and are good for beginners, you can chat online to people who speak French aswell.

  • @Thinguns

Thanks a lot. I want to learn Mandarin and Japanese as soon as I'm done with French. Thanks for your help.

  • @bolden212 Me too. I already have a little bit of background in Japanese and Arabic, I just need to polish them up. Hopefully, if I learn French, I'm going to target Mandarin and Spanish....

  • @MrDarkstalker15

Speaking of Japanese, I already purchased software for Japanese. However I want to learn one language at a time. I already know Spanish; I just need to polish up on my direct/indirect pronouns in Spanish. It's a easy language. Once I master Spanish, I will learn Japanese, Mandarin and then French. I may even learn Italian in the future. Altogether, that will be 6 languages I will be speaking including English being my primary language.

  • I'm so happy I found this. I'm taking French this semester and your tutorial is very helpful!

  • is there any way to know when a word is male or female ? Le or La ?

  • @brokenglassesshaner No.You just need to listen to a lot of french and learn which nouns are male and which are female:=)

  • wow you have 132,300 videos

  • Hé comment êtes-vous ?

  • i am having difficulties saying "Y"

  • @Ayumura96 it's i-grek (think the word greek)

  • "vous" is the same as "tu"?

  • @Xxrockerchic229xX yeh vous is a formal way to say you. tu is you and you say it to ppl younger than you

  • @Xxrockerchic229xX I think vous is the polite form of tu.

  • @Xxrockerchic229xX vous is theplural but tu is not . so you say : vous for you to a group of people , but tu is saying you to one person !! thats it , how simple it was :P

  • @Xxrockerchic229xX I think vous is more formal

  • so the i and the y are pronounced the same way?

  • @jacobbobcorn yess

  • Does "faire" also mean "to make"? I ask because, in Spanish, "hacer" means "to do/to make".

  • muchas gracias, es muy didactico y practico. Fenomeno!!!!!!

  • lol this is so funny i cant keep straight face without hearing or saying these letters and words

  • thank you so much soso much for this . i fall in love with you already!! Merci

  • sounds alot like spanish to mei speak spanish and its almost identical

  • @gm4ulkill Well, it'll make things ALOT easier for you then :)

  • after al this yu can do this!: Bonjour! J'mappelle (name)! Comment ça va? Ça va trés bien! Comment tu t'appelle? And later you can say: Ma mére est fantastique! Or: Je suis amoureux. It's just the way how you learn it....

  • How do you pronounce Minou?**

  • How do you pronounce Minou

  • @CelciusBleu We prononce minou like minou. ;)

  • @Yakaari That didn't help at all, I meant like have the syllables broken up into basic sounds so that I would know how to say it correctly. Regardless I found out how to say it correctly.

  • i like how you say "repeat", almost the same as everytime you say it :D

  • By far one of the best for beginners!!

  • @sushkate yeah but im only in 7th grade so i cant just take myself to france and learn it that way... and also its more of a side thing so its not too small

  • I am Canadian and living in London and regret terribly not having this language pounded into us as kids.B--lingual-ism in Canada should be mandatory.Half of Europe is multi lingual.

  • veeeery helpful, but it would be even better if there were some examples for adjectivs , especially singular and plural cases..nevertheles, great job:)
