Yes there is a plentiful elotment of phenotypes within the human species. It is true that some ethnicities came before others, there are likewise smaller genotypical trees within ethnicities and different ethnicities have different strength phenotypical trees. However all people are many times more similar than the eloted diversity of the average species or at least what a species can be. The different races are due to natural selection working on different invironments.
