99% of the time on cheap electronics I've used resistive touch-screens that are so glitchy and unresponsive. when you press a button on screen you have to press the screen quite hard on that flexible plastic stuff... Capacitive glass touch-screens are 100 times better (especially if it's a good quality one) they're often multi-touch and you don't need a dreaded stylus that gets lost constantly.

The stupid thing is, this Nckia E8 actually shows promise, if they scrapped the Nokia N8 pretence, the touchscreen, fixed the bugs and poor translations and fitted a better battery, it might actually make a viable £40-50 phone without an enormous amount of effort!

Actually, 192.168.071.035 is the correct address. Each of the four fields is a byte that can take a value from 0-255. The phone is just adding leading zeros, but the IP address is correct.

each digit in an IPv4 ip adress can go from 0 to 255. thats why you can't set the first digit to 3. also when you don't insert a sim card, the phone would constantly search for networks cuz it wants one. that would drain your battery very fast. this would happen on legit phones as well.
