@danp5648 I don't agree with what Obama did. In fact, I think it was unconstitutional, but typically, when Presidents violate the Constitution, they don't wind up in hand cuffs. We have a process called IMPEACHMENT to deal with that.
The AUMF, which was drafted by Congress, gave the President far reaching authorities to wage war against al Qaeda and to use all necessary and appropriate force against anyone he deemed to be an agent of al Qaeda.
