No actually. Taliban was backed and supported by Benazir. In the 90s when pakistan wanted to control everything that happened in afghanistan. Paki government wanted their own people to rule afghanistan. Which is why talibans had no issue with the paki govt back then. Also, pakistan was the first country to recognize talibans in afghanistan and their government.

I disagree. You haven't lived there so you don't know what you are talking about. The talibans enforced their rules through guns. Where was the govt then? Any local leader who tried to rise against them the next day their homes were blown up. While most pashtuns have guns mostly aks talibans have rockets and bombs. So you see they alone couldn't fight against them. Talibans are much more powerful than you think. Its all the govt's fault for not taking action on time.

They want to impose the 'taliban ideology' in Pakistan which the majority of Pakistanis disapprove of. After losing Afghanistan, Talibans need a state to survive and that is exactly what the fighting is all about.

Pakistanis all over the world are now sending whatever they can to help the IDPs. The political parties are also sending food among other things but there's a lot that needs to be done

These talibans were paid and organized by Indian raw to infilterate Pakistan.and cause anarchy. The indians also inititiated insurgencies in Balochistan and at the same time in Karachi to look like as if Pakistan is destablized. Until these paid talibans are supported by RAW from afghanistan there will be no peace.

8000+ madrasas in Pak

If 50 students graduate/ madrasa every year - we have: 50 x 8000+ = 400000+ islamic student pass outs / year

Suppose just 5% follow the route of Terrorism or Talibanistation or Wahabhism, we have- (400000 x 5)/100 = 20,000

RESULT : Thanks to Saudi funded madrasa growth compounded by lack of good Paki Public educational system PAKISTAN PRODUCES 20,000 TALIBAN STYLED EXTREMISTS EVERY YEAR BY THE MOST CONSERVATIVE ESTIMATE.

My family were leaving the area and they phoned me here in london that they saw 200 dead body of pakistani soldiers laying on the ground in a village called kota.
