It never takes any more than a week if you are really busy, max of a day if you are lazy, max of half day if you have no idea how to make it, max of 5 hours if all goes well, 2hours if you are in a rush and minutes if you are either quick or rushing really bad. It can only take years if you really want it to look like a sword and be sturdy at the same time, or if you're after quality.
