do i pull back on the bars at the top of the ramp the way i'd pull up on the bars if i were on flat ground? like at the top of the ramp this guy was practically sideways, did he pull back on the bars? the idea of pulling the bars back at the top of the ramp frankly scares me, like i'm going to stall the motion of the bike. especially since if i break something, i gotta bandage it up myself and bear it (no health insurance).

@zero1671 i had the same problem a while ago make sure your hitting the jump straight on and make sure that your handlebars are straight because if they aren't, you are going to naturally twist your handlebars. hope this helps.

I always did my jumps differently. I never "bunny hopped" that's dumb to do in a race. However, I lift my front forks up, and when I peak, lift my back up and land smoothly down. I don't just ride oever and bunny hop it.
