I completely agree with ye there my friend! Well said!
Just one thing - it'd be the plural "go raibh maith agaibh" if you're sayin' it to the two lads - but ye couldn't have put it better there! The quality just shines through in every note and ornament here and really highlights how long these guys have been playin' together. They can read each other so well and adjust their dynamics automatically to match the other .
Obviously 'form' and 'proper technique' count for nothing when you see that Michael can play this amazingly while resting the flute on his shoulder. What a guy! Love this and the others in the series. Thanks for posting.
the amazing duo remember watching ye two when you won the all ireland !!!! after a heavy night love ya chris and paul xxxxx

It's called 'reel for Grace' after the whistle player Grace Kelly. the jig is 'jig for Grace' funnily enough! Just lovely.

Anyone know the name of the reel they both play after the jig??

Is this a 5-key flute or 8?

He is playing a left-handed flute - the keys are the other way round.

there is no better flute player than that man! what a legend!
every breath perfect, light ornaments, perfection at ease, on kiss the maid, brilliant altogether. nobody else could play it like that.

McGoldrick's 'Kiss the maid behind the barrel' is inspirational, light of touch, just amazing. Git. :-)

Wonderful stuff! Is he playing a left handed flute? Or a right handed flute left handed?
