hmm...i don't know why PETA or any other animal rights org resort to using beautiful women to go naked to promote vegetarianism or veganism. How does the two relate other than getting more people to click? It's not going to make them want to become a vegetarian or vegan...or are they saying that you could look as beautiful as her if you became veg/vegan??
@firefly507 PeTA, in my opinion are doing just what a lot of other companies do by using attractive women (and occasionally men) to attract attention. I don't approve of this because they claim to against exploitating nonhumans but then exploit people. They are effectively promoting the idea that being slim, young and attractive is good and everyone else is 'bad'. On top of which, are people just going to be looking at the model and not reading the message?
cats eat humans after humans die.... i hope u vegans get eaten by your cats... and i hope alicia silverstone comes back to the dark side and eats a 20 ounce filet mignon with me and then lets me beef her tuna sweetly... did i mention im thin and attractive..... oh yea go vegans.. if thats what u wanna do its so kewell lol.... ""eats steak""
@partyongarth420 how shallow can you be? try watching food inc. and you decide for yourself what suits you. we are human of course we will crave eating meat sometime but we get over that fact when we actually know whats being done to the meat and how its processed.. and i dont think cats eat humans lmao even if your joking idc and i see why your hating on this commercial lols its not exactly a thorough explanation or w.e and thin doesnt equal to being healthy.
@partyongarth420 Your argument is invalid before the first ellipsis. Cats are carnivores, and therefore have to eat meat or they will die of malnutrition. Humans are omnivores, meaning they are capable of surviving without meat, and therefore your comparison with cats and humans is invalid. Also, domestic cats are basically incapable of eating a human, unless under extreme circumstances. If you're referring to the 'big cats', this is an unusual phenomenon. Humans eat far more lives than animals.
@partyongarth420 I am vegan because I got so grossed out after reading how meat is produced -- I stopped eating meat after reading that a typical piece of meat is full of dangerous bacteria, pus, feces, tumours, toxic chemicals and injections, produced by animals that are forced to cannibalise each other. Yuk. If other people can eat that stuff, fine. I don't have the stomach. Read "Diet for a New America" or "Eating Animals" or watch "Earthlings" here on Youtube. Peace.
Couldn't agree more. :) As a vegetarian I couldn't lose my last 10 pounds of extra weight, but when I became vegan the 10 pounds melted away effortlessly. I no longer get acne, have more energy, and feel great. :)
Going vegetarian is a good start (or cutting out animal products in whatever way suits you until there's none left), but don't stop there! Cutting out dairy worked wonders for me. :)

@firefly507 As far as I'm aware, PeTA are the only animal rights organisation that does this. The ones I'm a member of, certainly don't.

I'm pretty sure that when there's a naked Alicia Silverstone in front of you, going vegan is definitely the last thing on your mind.

@ineedanid14 Unless maybe you think going vegan will make you as attractive as that! Which is not the case.
