Maybe he will recast it and sell copies on Ebay. I hope so because I wouldn't mind having another one in the future.

@xFoolyCoolyx theyre making a 5 and six, realising them a year after one another, they are prequils, before any of the movie is how i can explain it, basically, its before ridley, (woman in the movies) saw aliens, theyre movies like um, lion king 1 1/2 really, but better and no songs, just pure alien epicness lol! *one prequil will be realised next year, and then one in 2012*

ACTUALLY, this piece was originally sculpted by California based artist named Harry Inman as a lifesized Takeya alien bust. I know, I used to own one. He had two versions of this and the other was with that second mouth/tongue thing coming out. As far as I know only a few were produced by him and then the mold was sold to someone else. I don't know who. Hope that clears it up.

Takeya is a sculpting GOD. I keep seeing photos of this huge head here and there with very little info about the origin. Possibly a one time piece for the Fewture store in Tokyo.

The guy I bought it from on Ebay couldn't (or wouldn't) give me any info on it. I only know its a Takeya design. It was a lot of work airbrushing and shading the paint. I used rubber cement mixed with oil paint for the most part. The teeth were a headache to paint chrome. I masked them off and shaded between each tooth with an airbrush.

The Takeya version was never used in a movie. It was designed by a Japanese artist. Ive seen smaller statues and busts of Takeya aliens but this 1/1 version is the only one I've ever seen. If anybody has any information on it I would like to hear it.

Um, no, the design is by Takayuki Takeya. It's an artist's interpretation of the alien. As mentioned before, NEVER used in a film. Takeya is a sculptor of garage kits featuring this particular alien & produced by Fewture Models.

I bought the head in its raw form on Ebay. I finished it by painting it. Its made of latex rubber with a solid foam core. I never seen one before or since.
