  • Its fine to buy hand reared birds

  • please do not purchase further birds and do everything in you re effort to stop the sale, trafficking, trapping, and killing of these extraordinary birds.

  • I enjoyed this all the same! Perhaps you can find another track without the stress of so called copyright crap!

  • wOw WMG, just Wow, you guys sure are pricks...

  • who ever sayed that they do not like water

  • any1 knows a good kind of bath for parrots? my parrot didnt like all the ones i bought and prefers the drinkingbowl more for some reason O_o

  • How can someone copyright parrots talking? I don't get it

  • sho sweet!!!!!

give huges from me plz plz!!!!!

    i lve Parrots<3

  • African Grey's like the water, but dont like water being sprayed at them, they only bathe init and throw it about like I do. All African Grey's are different.

  • mine like water too

  • i use a large 4" deep skillet pan, and my grey goes to town in it, completely submerges himself in a bathing fantasia every 2 weeks or so; yes, he goes all the way under; but he hates going in the shower

  • @trabbin8 We used to have one of those water wands they use for showering flowers and hooked it ou to the water spicket outside. When I turned it on, my birds would take a bath in it. It actually simulated rain. My Gray would also come into the shower.

  • Beautiful :o)

  • What a fantastic set-up your lucky parrots have!

  • Fuck You WMG Bitch! I hate WMG service copyright Mother Fucker . !

  • wmg boo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • NO SOND SORRY ISTS BEEN TAKEN OFF BY WMG

  • @Robby334 FUCK WMG.

  • Love the big bird bath for the aviary! Lots of room to splash about.

What beautiful greys you have! So cute :) Our greys love bathing too!

  • My grey also puts his feet in his water bowl and tries to get wet! It's hilarious to watch. (At least his feet don't stink). I tried everything with sprays, bowls, etc. but finally started taking him in the shower with me once a week. He isn't crazy about it but doesn't fight too much.

  • yeaa same here...wut is best to do is to have him on ur shoulders

  • lol i couldnt stop laughing when i saw him that puffy

  • soooooooo cute

  • my budgie fell in a glass of juice wen he was trying to swim in it. then he was all sticky!

  • Great Video. Maybe this explains why my Grey stands on the edge of its water bowl and throws the water all over the place with her beak.... sometime she dangles upside down and dse the same

  • So does mine! it's amazing how they get everything wet but themselves lol

  • My Grey does exactly like Tanrat7 said. Won't get in any bowl but his water bowl and only when I fill it up with fresh water. I've tried the shower, didn't work. Doesn't like the spray washes either.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

    Too much cute!!!

  • my parakeet does this in my ice water, but he only does it when the glass is clear, and he can see through it. he tried it once when he was little, and it was a blue glass...he took a bath in my apple juice!! he learns quickly.

  • My african grey takes baths in his water dish, or at least tries to LOL He sticks his feet in and beak and starts flapping his wings and I guess the water splashes out and gets on him because when he is done, the water level is very low and its all dirty lol I have put bigger bowls of water in his cage so he could take a real bath. Forget it, He wanted nothing to do with it. He is happy with his little water dish lol

  • to cute! i love birds especially greys.

  • Hey give GENE KELLY some credit, too!!!!

  • we have an african grey and a red bellied coneur and he takes baths in the watering bowl and our african thinks shes tiny enough to and all she does is wash her face :)

  • so sweet

  • Sweet video. I've been owned by my Tiel for 6 years and my TOO for 2 and I'm always reading and learning something new. Both my birds love water.

  • 2/2 The energy that they expressed when they are bathing - and the recovering from being wet helps to prevent some of those temper tantrums that can occur so frequently in captivity!

I got this knowledge from a book i once had. There are so many small things that is important to know as a owner of a grey parrot! So, go study.

  • My grey loves water. I take him outside (wings trimmed) and and he climbs on a banana leaf or bamboo branch and I do spray him. Then I have a huge basin with an indention like the one in this video that he does the same thing as this bird, fluffs up and takes a bath every day.

I have 40 canaries, too, they love taking baths every morning.

  • 1/2 Wild gray parrots spent hundreds of generations evolving a metabolism that wuld enable them to function fully in the rain (they can reproduce, feed, nest and raise youngsters while they are wet). Rainfall is of course missing in captivity, and all the energi the bird need to survive wet is unused. This lost access to rainfall represents lost exercise! And it culd lead to frustration!! Of course they dont like to be forced (spraying and so on..), but give them the opportunity!

  • cute!! love it!

  • hes gorgeous, i love my African grey, benny

  • he puffs up so big

  • wow :P

my Parrot Arwin is scared of water she only drinks it she wnt dare go in water for a bath!

  • I actually didn't know they didn't like water..learn something new everyday eh...

    the music was great.

    thanks

  • ANYONE WHO THINKS GREYS DON'T LIKE WATER: TRY PUTTING ICE IN SPRING WATER! in their bath or their waterbowl. Try it out. THEY LOOOOVE COLD WATER!! Even if you've been spraying your grey down with water bottles for YEARS try it. It mimicks their natural bathing habits (it gets cold in the morning where they're from)

  • One of my mine is terrified of everything, the other attempts to submerge themselves in their water dish.

  • OMFG that is sooooo cute. I would always see them in the pet store but my mother always said she would never let me get one BUT I WANT ONE SOOO MUCH!!!!

  • I just got one in 23 days ago , so , keep trying , Good luck .... :-)

  • Mine hates a spray or a shower but willing bathes in a water bowl. We just leave him plenty of water for whenever he wishes. Because they have preening powder, I don't worry about it. He does a great job of taking care of his own personal hygiene. lol! Now if I can just get him to clean his cage....

  • hahaha thats great my blue fronted macaw takes a bath when ever we vacum lol its funny

  • Fresh air, plenty of sunshine...good for feathers =)

  • I wouldn't put the birds outside, they might fly away and never come back.

  • they are in a wire flight so its impossible fpr them to escape.....

  • thats nice!

mine likes goig on car rides lolz!

  • Don't you think an owner of 3 african grey's know's that?

  • @AmericanRide007 not true, if you made sure the bird while it was young, learned to fly properly in your house, then when you take him outside he'll fly and come back to you when you call him/her....

most people make the mistake of taking a bird that doesnt know how to fly outside, the bird will flap its wings and wont know how to land, making him/her just fly away till it gets tired and lands somewhere far away, which eventually ends up in hawk attacks unless someone finds them first

  • I wish I had a giant area to put all three of mine and they would be happy..

  • My cam isn't youtube friendly otherwise I would send you a response vid of my Macaw in the huge steamer pot ,which is his bath.

  • Wonderful vid, are those congos? My friend owns a congo, and he makes the funniest noises, like doorbells ringing, water dripping, he even whistles whole songs.

  • i have a grey at home and he absolutly LOVES the water but his bowl is a little small and it is so funny watching him

  • My grey loves water, He tried to fit in the water bowl.

  • This looks like Disneyworld for parrots, they are lucky to have an owner who takes such good care of them!

  • i want a love bird

  • i have 2 greys 1 loves water i cant keep him away from it the other hates water and gets scared every time she sees the spray bottle Ali x

  • That's great! Perfect song, lol. Was she *poofy* while taking a bath, haha!

    ~Kristy

  • who say that .. mine love the daily shower i`ll show it here in youtube soon

  • lol

  • my CAG has always bathed! so we we gave him a big heavy dog bowl, and his only stared using it after 4 months! lol

  • my african grey harley hates baths i can't believe yours does that

  • She is so cute.

  • My African Gray HATES showers but loves splashing around in a big plastic box filled with water!

  • same with my african gray. How old is he/she? Does he/she like corn? mine love it.What other kind of food do they eat?

  • lol thats so cute!!! hahaha

  • all the parrot love to take a bath

and the look cute and funny no matter the especies

i like lilly she sure love the water

  • The one taking its bath is so CUUUUTTTTEEEE! I used to work with them and train them at a pet center. Wow! I wish that every owner would threat their grey as good as you do! :)

  • Your Timneh is HUGE! Is he/she a hybrid?

My CAG and TAG hate water. They scream like I'm trying to kill them. Yet they'll splash in their dirty water dish. Yuck.

  • Love that Lilly. You did a good job with the video. Perfect choice of music... Lilly does rather remind me of Gene Kelly dancing through puddles. Wonderful image! I'm going to try giving a birdbath to my CAG Ruby... It's been only showers until today. Thanks.

  • Great vid and I've rated it as 5 stars. Please check out mine on some 1930's Aviary and Cage Bird tobacco cards.

  • What a great environment for these birds! My African Grey takes showers with me at least once a week - he was miserable at first but now really gets into it and goes very willingly. After we started the showers he started bathing on his own in his water dish. His feather condition is always great now. I'll have to set a pan of water out for him and see what happens. Thanks for sharing.

  • what a little cutiepie,

  • what is name this music?

  • This is Gene Kelly singing "Singing in the Rain"

  • Very VERY cute, that is great to see her taking a bath like that. we tried to get my CAG ponti to take a bath, even bought her a cool little water fountain, but she won't touch it; she prefers a spray-bottle shower about every morning instead. Beautiful birds you have, you can tell they are happy and well-cared for!

  • Lilly is beautiful. My grey Sadie is not crazy about showers but will take a bath in her bowl.

  • Lol i've never heard anyone say CAGS hate water. Most of them LOVE the water.

  • I can't see my parrot Mooky doing that! She really looks like she's enjoying herself too!

  • So cute. Mine takes daily showers with me. She loves bathing too.

  • Your birds are just beautiful my grey Knuckles seems to prefer showers over a bath but she isnt too water savvy Lilly is just precious

  • Very cute!!!!

  • Aww, cute!

  • youd never catch mine doing either.... if she had a choice.

  • Mine loves baths, but HATES being misted or sprayed.

  • omg she is waaaaaaay too cute! Mine loves a shower- hates a bath!
