I don't undertstand why pendulum doesn't have integrity? They are pretty lowkey and not mainstream outside gaming/drumb and bass community which lets isn't very big.

Because everyone uses it. Besides, drum and bass isn't as underground as you think, at least not in Europe. Drum and bass is among the most popular electronic genres. "Mainstream" is very subjective, to me they seem very mainstream, while to you they may even seem somewhat underground if you're accostumed to listening to even more mainstream artists?
