Now let's be clear. I'm an American, and I know our coldness and insensitivity to human suffering earns us, rightly, anti-American sentiments. We deserve it. But Israel. Not only are they insensitive, but they almost FLAUNT their superficial concern for PR. Not only is this SICK and unacceptable, but this comes close to emulating behavior (particularly the Jewish superficiality and hyper ethnocentrism) that has for ages motivated anti-Semitism.

@johnuio Its rare an american says something so insightful and right on the money on this subject! I was invited to a Jewish sader once, the traditional easter meal in their culture, and was repulsed throughout the entire event! I had never realized that Jewish orthodox culture focused so much on how they had been slaves 3000+ years ago, and how they must never forget it, and never let the rest of the world forget it either! I want the best for all people, and the best way to wish the best for Jews is not to favor them - or to pretend not to see ways they pull for favoritism. It is not truly an assistance to Jews to see them as faultless, or to indulge their need to always be seen as the relatively innocent party. I love them by not pandering to them, as I know they will return the favor to me and others!!
