For loads of reasons why not to worry about the threats of doom from religious orthodoxy try Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Robert M. Price, Kenneth Humphreys, John W. Loftus, Valerie Tarico, Dan Barker, Victor J Stenger, David Mills, Tentmaker777. Anyway a loving good God would either take people to heaven or let them cease to exist. Gods are a failed hypothesis. We evolved. Old Writ= fiction or faction but certainly far less than reality. If there is a heaven we will all be there.
@davidwhorton95 Do you mean the recording of the sheet music? The scores to Hough's 4 Rodger/Hammerstein arrangements were issued by publisher Josef Weinberger, whilst this recording is featured his "The Piano Album", released on Virgin Classics. That disc also included "The March of the Siamese Children", and another Hough CD (on Hyperion) called "The New Piano Album" programs the other two paraphrases. These are really quite delightful in my opinion.
