  • i dont care where this song is from but its wickid. ive known this song since i was a kid and everytime i hear it it sounds like da first time. big up and big respek to da artist and composer.

  • Gwo Ka is from Guadeloupe The phrase Annou Boujé" Boujé comes from the French verb Bouger which means to move or shake it. The verb is used a lot Martinique and Guadeloupe but not in the other islands that give the song away, this song is from the the French West Indies Martinique in particular, how do I know, Guadeloupe only has 1 definite article in their Creole "la" Martinique has 5 and they are all used in this song.

  • I SPEAK BOTH CREOLE AND FRENCH, MOST OF THE WORDS IN CREOLE IS FRENCH, ITS JUST THAT ITS NOT PRONOUNCE PROPERLY, SO IT IS BROKEN FRENCH. IF BRITIAN DID NOT CONQUER ST. LUCIA, EVENTUALLY WE WOULD BE SPEAKING FRENCH.

  • @ BrooklyntoBrixton. I was born in the UK and raised in the UK...my parents never spoke creole to me, to each other. I can speak and understand creole well. I luv my culture.

  • Big up from martinique ! i love lucia <3 this song is not from martinique.....this is from lucia

  • Martinique its like our next door neighbour. St lucian understand most of what they say. Croele is like broken french. Wish st lucia was own by the french.

  • @SMALLP66 bredren large up to you but Kweyol is not broken French. It was derived from French but it's a stand-alone language. Cheers

  • Since when does St. Lucia make zouk music. I'm St. Lucian an I never knew that. But I don't speak creole so I can't tell where this is from. But I doubt it's St.Lucian.

  • @explicitcontent1000 Whatever, the only person that spoke patios in my house was the maid. An I never talked to her so.... Most of my friends were white, half white or Syrian. They had more of a British accent than a St Lucian one. But I do speak fluent Jamaican patios if that's any consolation lol.
