@saranne772 sorry i didnt realise u had replied. I was attending 2 brethern churches at the time of writing. I've now decided on one.
When i say brethern i don't mean "no music", we have music but we are in no hurry to rush into modern songs. generally stick with hymns like believer's because they are timeless. The church i've moved to also sings hillsong, so there is variety.
but i get so much more from the subtley of the old hymns over some of the repetitive worship songs you find today.
@RenegadeMaster07 my church isnt actually called brethern, its evangelical. The one i used to be at is a Gospel Hall. Worship is generally more reserved but i don't see this as a bad thing because the bible never instructs us that we shoudl have a feeling about the bible or about the holy spirit. I think too many places are more interested in "feeling the holy spirit moving" rather than worship built on good doctrine.
i love this hymn, and me and my friends sing it from time to time.
but i do not understand this version that they are singing here. As you see, it says Jesus rolled the stone away, but it says in the gospel of Matthew that the angel rolled the stone away in Matthew 28.
The version i know is accurate, but this could be why i cannot find this hymn in the Believer's hymn book, as its main rule is to be 100% accurate with the scriptures.
