And yes, temporarily. It's part of the terms of the bailout, so it's legally binding. They're not a political entity, they provide money to countries at risk of collapse to stop them taking other countries down with them. Once that country can survive on its own, it leaves. I'm neither blind nor well off, but thanks for making another assumption without basis. I'll probably pay for it in taxes later on in life, if my degrees worth a damn at all, but in my defense I think free college is ludicrous and only benefits the wealthy so I'd prefer if you didn't hold that against me.

Putting people like me (or anyone else for that matter) through college brings money to the country for everyone. It brings foreign investment/ high-skilled jobs here and through the "Multiplier Effect" (Google it), hundreds of thousands more jobs.

No, we still have a lot of FDI in the country (Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Cisco... thought you'd know this if you're in IT) and they're here partly because of our educated workforce, as well as tax policy and EU membership.

It's an established principle of macroeconomics, so basic I did it for the Junior Cert in school. Not that hard a concept to grasp.
As for the quality of my degree, I'll let my university's reputation and my degree GPA do the talking.

And remember, most "money" is just conjured up from nothing. Bond holder in effect, lends to bank, or central bank issues currency, bank then lends 10 times that amount, ie, its debt, in the economy, it doesnt actually exist as cash, thats why now, in the midst of depression it seems the money has vanished, which in effect it has. Thats because it never existed in the first place.

I dont think there are too many highrollers who made millions in the boom left, not living here anyway. Most of the casino capitalists borrowed against their assets and profits and ended up stuck in property deals and land , mansions ect not worth a damn now.
