Arisato Minato came from the manga, when the author needed a name. It was just adopted by fans from then on to be his name.

The Persona 4 manga named the Protagonist Seta Souji, but the anime named him Narukami Yuu. You can imagine the confusion there.

He's keeping Erebus AWAY from Nyx, cause as she is Nyx isn't malevolent, but when the creature spawned from the hate and malice in the world (Erebus) mixes with Nyx, she becomes "Corrupted" and tries to destroy the world

They explain it in "The Answer" and also they state how to free him from his eternal state as a seal (Which is a pretty tall task)

Even this opening for the regular Persona 3 beats the pants off the P4 opening. Persona 4 kinda sucked, now that I think about it. I mean, P3 had the fate of the world riding on it and all of existence. And P4 was just some guy who threw people in the TV b/c he thought his life was too boring and whatnot and killing them?? Come on! The plots just don't match. P3's plot is way more intense and in-depth.

I sort of preferred the way P4 started off though. P3 you're sort of unsure what's going on and everything's really vague. P4, even though a good time goes before you're sure of anything, the whole saving lives thing really makes it feel like you've accomplished something in the short run.

P3's plot was very deep, but I think the light-hearted feel of P4 was great in it's own way. I mean, saving the world is epic, but saving several people that grow throughout the storyline and that you grow close to is also quite satisfying. As boredmuskoxen said, saving lives in the short run gives you a feel of accomplishment. Overall, I think both games are great. :D

I liked P3, but loved P4. I used to say what you stated. There maybe better characters in P4 and all that, but what about plot? How can I deem P4 superior if it's at a lower scale to P3 (minor spoilers: fate of the world v. a potential threat)? Theme.
