I must be the only one but now that it's all over, I'm like "So what?" No resolution, no major deaths, heck--even Xavier is half-dead. Lame. Disappointing. Could've been clearer. Could've not dragged on for so long for such a vague payoff. I felt like I walked through the snow with them. And that's NOT a good thing.

messiah complex ended up being fantastic. but it didn't really get rolling for a while...still, the last few issues really wrapped it up tight.

the MC has been great. Its what a crossover should be. great work by Tan and some very cool Finch covers. It reminds me of the X-men of old. I have to admit i am not too fond of the New X-Men but hey cant like everyone. (spoiler) seeing Bishop shoot Cable in the back at the end of chapter 9 was a great plot twist..

It's killing off the X-men. Lame and desperate attempt at garnering sales. We dont need another Avenger disassembled type of storyline. These writers are pathetic.

Saleswise, The Messiah Complex is a hit with a demand for reprints. I just hope that Magneto and Jean Grey will be in it.

I felt exactly the same about Messiah Complex. I wanted to love it but it felt a little flat. I also agree with the women in the comic. Its too typical of comic artists.

I gave it a 7 out of a 10. Not the biggest deal at all.

I loved Messiah Complex and the new x-men are great, when they 1st came out it kinda sucked but after the House Of M series it really took off and the new x-men became great even if the sales don't reflect that. Messiah Complex was perfect you gotta stop being so picky and just enjoy the Messiah x-men story

Good show, I can't believe it took me so long to find it! Well I have 2 questions:

1) Countdown comes after 52, right? Then what came before 52 and what are they planning for after countdown? I have heard a lot about these series and just started to think about picking them up.

2)What Batman comics show Bruce Wayne's civilian life the best? I am actually doing a project for a mass media class, so this wold be extremely helpful (and hopefully its canon!)

the big build ups to crossovers like road to civil war are normally a bit streched out but countdown is taking the piss. 52 issues revealing 52 universes is a good idea but dc handled it horribly.

luckly anything grant morrison touches turn to gold so final crisis might be worth a look.
