Sissy-this is for you-I can't believe you are gone-we were going to grow old together-
be at peace and in no more pain my sweet angel sister-Jane-I will forever remember your laughter and smile-I miss you soooooo much it hurts like I would never believe-I will forever remember-your only sister and sibling-Butch
Thanks for sharing, I grew up in the 70s. Maybe the best time of all. I have the 8 track that America had out. My favorite group by far. I think Daisy loves me.
Quote: I guess they don't sing enough about bitches and whores to suit you....huh? LOL!! Right on!!!! These guys are classics and if you don't like them, go away and listen to somebody else!
America has never stopped touring for over 30 years 150 concerts internationally!! Truly an amazing group!! And great guys to boot! I have met them and they do really love their fans! They sound as good orbetter than ever!
Yeah thats true, and not only the Piano Intro in my eyes! I bought for some years a best of Album from America, and when i heard this Song(it was the first time) i thought this Sounds like Janet`s Song, and when he started to sing i thought that he will sing now:"There`s something i want to tell you...";-)
Favorite song from childhood...It brings me back to 6 years old, going to Carol's Hamburgers in Leominster Mass. Seemed to be on the radio all the time...
Is it coincidence or result of an agreement that Janet Jackson's "Let's Wait Awhile" uses this exact tune?
I know she used the opening of "Ventura Highway" in another song. Anybody know?

Is bpc1960 a musician? I very much doubt it. If he was, he wouldn't talk such piffle.

SUNGAHID, I have always thought JANET JACKSON stole that from them, good point, I prefer the original, don't like this live performance.

Although not considered America's best song, it's my favourite simply because of its pensive, sweet, and longing (and haunting) melody. Great tune!
