hello-you seem to have alot of birds? what species is the larger green one in the cage? hope to see more of your larger birds? i was thinking, is the one in the cage a nanday? have a nice day
Actually the green bird is a very plump parakeet (budgie), that passed away about a year ago. At the time of this video we had 4 parakeets. Lolabird is the only large parrot.
these greys are all alike with there noises, there voices are pretty much the same.....and they are so smart no telling how smart. and we get "alot" of laughs outta our congo!!! big hugs and seeds......bouy, the amazon
lol! o my goodness i almost fell off my chair!! he's so awesome!!! never thought i would hear a bird respond with an emotion after hitting his beak on his cage, "ow." LOL!
I SEE YOU HAVE OTHER BIRDS SQEEEKING AND STUFF IN THE BACKROUND! MY BABY GREY IS COMENING TOMOROW AND I HAVE 2 OTHER LOVEBIRDS HU SCREETCH ! DO YOU FIND THAT YOUR PARROT COPYS OF THERE SCREECHING ? let me no THANKS
There are budgies in the background. Lola doesn't mimic their noise - in fact he'll say "parakeets, be quiet!". BUT Lovebirds have a very sharp squeek and Lola would probably copy their sounds because he loves to make annoying sqeeks and beeps. Congrats on your new baby - Greys are amazing!
THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING EVER BUT I LOVE MY MOM AND DON'T WANT TO TAKE ANY CHANCES If you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours
LOL. Yes. The breeder was convinced he was a she, but the Vet was not so certain. We named him Lola anyway and a few weeks later got his DNA test back confirming his maleness.
There is an old song by the Kinks called "Lola" about a beautiful girl that turns out to be a guy. So Lola still fits!
Thanks for the nice comments - we are very proud of Lola.
For tanyaamero - they are expensive, Lola was $800 but we purchased from a local breeder - the pet stores usually sell them for about $1,000-$1,200. I would recommend you read up a lot on this species since they are one of the more difficult and time-consuming species to care. They are so smart, high-strung and easily bored so they can develop a lot of emotional problems like biting/agression and feather plucking.
Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please see my video clip on a parrot animation and some Victorian trading cards of exotic birds such as parrots, paradise bird, toucan, humming bird etc.
LOL, this is too cute. I love it when he says he's adorable. So many of these video's of greys are great. Each video I watch of greys shows their personality and so much of the personality comes from their humans. Thanks for sharing this.
hey lola

Beautiful Bird but you should add SubTitles to your video so that others watching it can understand what he is saying.
