    in you inbox

  • Damn nice bass run 1:38 to 1:42

  • I love this<3! How much would it be for the tenor drum part and the score?

  • How much to buy the score and snare part?

  • Amazing show!!! How can I get the score and snare part to this? Please reply!!!

  • Very nice. It's very segmented though.

  • Is it possible to buy this show?

  • cool

  • I don't know how to describe this piece. (Honestly, I have no idea!)

I have to give it a 10/10, though.

    :D

  • I enjoyed this. Great writing!

  • PLEASE WRITE MY SHOW

  • i got finale 2010 and i selected VDLite but no sound with playback or audio export, any advice?

  • Wow man this is really good. I love it, sounds amazing... Just wondering, how old are you cause this is really amazing in my opinion

  • hey what writer is this and what sounds are you using because i have tried both finale and sibelius and i cant find any good sounds or easy ways to write music

  • @TheVinnster1 I used finale 2010 with the VDLite package of sounds that came with it.

  • @snaredrumer09 and im guessing u actually bought finale and either way if u used finale how did u put in diddles cus i didnt see how to do that.... sibelius you can do that but it sounds like crap

  • @TheVinnster1 diddles are in the articulation tool

  • And I can buy this where??????

  • @2biggocks You can buy it from me directly. If you want some more info just send me a message.

  • love the little fugue melody on the glock. sounds great!

  • hey man how did you get the vdl sounds? by the way this sounds great man

  • my glockenspiel won't work =( how'd you fix yours

  • @drumspeed2 I actually had to set it up as a different instrument and then change the staff name and the instrument sound to glock

  • @drumspeed2 same problem

  • @vidsbyluke try changing the audio channel the glock is assigned to on the instrument list and in the VST sound bank

  • Really good idea for a show! Some complex criticism though, at spots like 2:46 and other suspended cymbal rolls you may want to rewrite it so the cymbal sound peaks and decays naturally. And they have Templates for Virtual Drumline so you can score with it better with percussion maps in Finale.

  • The ballad is really good... I think you try to make the end of the ballad a retrograde(end is the same/similar to how the being) with just be bells and chimes in the end. It will make it seem like the calm before the storm as the eye come and goes.

The battery book is sounding really well thought out, and musical. The end of the show could sound bigger and full. Try gong and cymbal rolls into the last chord.

    All in all great writing.

  • what finale do you use?

  • lol holy crud, I commented on the last one, and I thought I was in love, but THIS! Would love to hear more out of you, expecting big things.

  • oh man that is so sweet, that's so beasty

  • I totally dig this dude. My only critique is the dynamic shaping in the first movement. It seems like it's always a FF-PP kind of thing... Every phrase fades to nothing. Stylistically, that seems to get a little stale after the first phrase or two. I'll definitely watch this a few more times. I really enjoyed it!

  • Excellent! My only comment is that you might want to think carefully about the dynamic markings in the battery. It seems to me that you employ ff and fff too early in the work. That might over-balance the mallet parts in a number of places, and I think it's best to save the power for the end in any case. Can you give a link to pdfs of the parts? I'd love to chop through the snare part along with this!

  • It's wonderful! You should be very proud.

In part 2, you may want to consider adding more movement in the arpeggio line in the marimba. You can make it do more then go from low to high. Think like a mallet player: Mallets are numbered low to high-1234. Maybe you should try to do permutations like 1234, 1342, 3421 etc.

    Great closer too.

I would put some more linear impacts in the closer...or hit points to build tension.
