  • where is this from?

  • Heart melts<3

  • and she was only 21!!!!!

  • @mayabh7 She was 20, not 21. This might have been in 1991 around a winter season, about a year before the movie hit theaters.

  • i want to marry Brad Kane's voice!!! <3

  • hahah he raised his eyebrow that was awesome

  • Brad's voice really is perfect for the character. And of course Lea is amazing. She makes me wish Jasmine had gotten another song just for herself.

  • @ninjapretender, she did, except the staff cut it because it made her character seem too entitled.

  • JAFAR MADE 106 accounts xDD

  • Stunning. To do this so perfectly in one takes is amazing.

  • It's like they're supposed to be together!!!

  • awwww i love this video lol glad i ran across it...its good to put a face to the voices of my fav song :0)

  • 106 people are so old world.

  • Never realized that this was two or more takings.

Kane´s headphones are off the right ear at 3:20 but at 3:24 it´s on...

    Non the less, great performance!

  • @Jonbeee Oh yeah, I noticed that too.

  • how old was Lea when she played Jasmine's singing voice?

  • @Liveactingforever 21 I think

  • @oisinsgirl87 She's 20.

  • @Carmaker1 Cool, Cheers.

  • @Liveactingforever She was 20, it was in 1991. A lot of Aladdin characters' voice recording was done in 1991 and the last bits throughout 1992.

  • omg!!! lea Look so Cute!! :D <3

  • Brad deserves a picture on wikipedia

  • david archuleta

  • winning

  • Disney Prince's voices need more recognition. Seriously.

  • Magic...

  • how old was Lea when they recorded this? adorable

  • @sahggers She was about 21. Check out her as Miss Saigon, even more cute!

  • @Atlantis828 She was not 21 in 1991, but she's very close to it. She did return to the New York City in April 1991, so it might be around the end of that year.

  • @Atlantis828 That is a bit misleading to give that as correct info considering as it takes many months to animate a movie, if not a few or even several years. The recording scenes are definitely from 1991 as until late February 1992, she was 20.

  • @sahggers 20 years old.

  • brad's eyebrows at 2:24 and 3:17....so funny

  • AMAZING

  • I love this song

  • this is what i miss about disney

  • it really felt like they had a connection while they were singing ...... <3 haha it's probably just me and my fangirlness..... xDDD idkk he's such a good singerr, i'd fall in love w/him!!!

  • Amazing!

  • ahh i figured out a while ago that the reason aladdin was so 'crushworthy' to my kid self was more his singing voice and while not bad, less the guy from full house. I tried finding more on him but couldnt >.< so its interesting to finally see him o.o

  • 3:15 i just died! hot! xd

  • @LuluHeeNim oh ok, so how did you type when you died already? this is conspiracy.

  • They made this song amazing. They are the best pair for singing.

  • brad is sooo cute<3 lea is such a great singer!:)

  • it feels like magic

  • This song give me chills :) I want to cover it with someone as talented as BRAD & I hope i can live up to LEA she is amazing

  • Brad Kane is hot ;)

  • Wow... so beautiful! I love both their voices... so beautiful and pure and magical. They are wonderful disney singers!

  • This put a smile on my face :)

  • her voice is SO pure and beautiful... I actually like it better than Jodi as Ariel's, who happens to be my favourite Disney heroine/character - Jodi had a sweet voice, but Lea is something more - just simply pure and sparkling.

  • chills <3

  • I wish Brad looked like this for ever, he was so cute ;D

  • I Love the beginning with the piano, it is soo pretty

  • I never get sick of watching this. See their faces when they're recording, then go back to the film and watch Aladdin and Jasmine when they're flying on the carpet together. Classic.

  • @MrGreenLand if you get sick watching this go to a doctor, they should identify whats wrong when you get sick or probably give you some medicines

  • @albeanmagz19 His comment actually states that he never gets sick of watching this. Reread it & see for yourself.

  • OMG did anyone else get goosebumps listening to this? Love this!!!!

  • this made my eyes tear so much. i remember watching theirs movies when i was a lil girl. they dont make movies like this any more its really sad. </3

  • Brad kinda look like David Archuleta.. anyone agree with me? and Lea Salonga was so perfect in this one, she's beautiful and talented she can fit as a princess...

  • Close your eyes while listening to this.

  • Funny thing is, these two individuals could walk down most streets and no one would realize we've been singing with them for years.

  • freaking brillian, I love'd growing up in the 90's with disney films... so good!!!

  • I really miss the old Disney...as much as I liked Tangled and Princess and the Frog...for me, they don't hold a candle to the old Disney who I grew up with...and it probably sounds weird, but whenever I think back to my childhood and how I was raised with Disney, it just brings tears to my eyes

  • @strawberrifreak125, you know why newer movies can't hold a candle to the old? You grew up. Your mind evolved. When you watch these classics, you get hit by nostalgia. When you watch the newer ones, you don't, and you never will because you can never watch the newer movies from the perspective of an innocent child. Your mind has changed too much for that to happen now. Nostalgia is a HUGE factor in determining what we enjoy more.

  • @ZhangtheGreat Well put. I try to keep that in mind when I see new movies, although it is nice to watch the old ones and get that wave of nostalgia :)

  • The singers they chose actually fit Aladdin and Jasmine quite well. Lea's voice is very trained, beautiful, and young...perfect for a young princess. Brad's voice is simple (not saying bad), hopeful, and youthful...everything that Aladdin is. It's quite beautiful, watching this gave me goosebumps.

  • Friggin amazing. Brad Kanes voice is so enchanting.

  • i used to wish Aladdin would be my boyfriend when i was younger :) lol, i miss this!

  • OMG thia is the cutest thing ever :D <3

  • Memorieeeeeeeeeeees!!! XD

  • Filipino Pride..

  • @rueljvillafuerte Lea Salonga FTW!!!!

  • I remember having a carpet ride with Aladien danceing at balls with Cinderella becoming part of the loins with Simba swiming with Arial learning how to follow my heart with Mulan reading a book with Belle ringing the bells of Notre Dame with Quesemodo growing and shrikin with Alice playing with Wody and Buzz having adventures with Hercules. I agree we should start a revolution repost this if you agree too!!!!

  • Growing up Mufasa was my father, Growing up Bambi's mother was my mother, Ariel was my sister, Peter pan was my younger brother, Hercules was my older brother Esmeralda was my aunt, The Genie was my weird uncle, Woody & Buzz were my best friends, Baloo & Bagheera were my babysitters, The Dalmatians were my pets, Growing up Disney was my family. I'm proud to say I am a 90's kid. but if you had this childhood and want your kids to have the same childhood please repost this

  • omg she has beautiful voice !

  • I remember cheering on Simba when he fought Scar. I remember booing at Ursela, when she took Ariels voice. I remember fighting the Huns side by side with Mulan. I remember the wind through my hair, running by Pocahontas. I remember being locked in the Beast's castle. I remember laughing and having fun with Mickey and his friends. I don't remember watching Teen Drama on stupid Disney Channel. Copy and paste this to all you favorite Disney Videos, and let's start a revolution. W. Disney 4ever

  • lea salonga remains to be very popular today & still very active in her career, that said, i wonder where is brad kane now? i hope he's still singing he's got a great voice & a real talent too.

  • I'm interested in what the 105 people didn't like about this video.

  • 3:15 is my favourite bit omg he is so cute

  • @mrsdepp29 If I send you a video of myself doing the same thing, would you find me cute?!! I'm a 30 year old extremely fat and smelly male. Get in touch if your interested in that...

  • Wow! It doesnt seem like it was that long ago! But is was *o*

  • This is a recording session that you cannot say 'cut!'. Or you'll be pissing off all the arrangers, members of the orchestra, etc. ;)

    They did it just perfectly!

  • The vibrato in both their voices is simply magical. No vocal acrobatics, just plain beautiful singing. Bravo!

  • 105 dislikes from a beaver called justin!

  • I've always been in love with his voice... And now i'm inlove with him!

Yeah... The voice can change everything but GOD it makes him look sooo much better ;)

  • 3:15 watch brad's face hahaha so funny

  • everyone who says this song is so sexual should watch this video and see for themselves how classic and wholesome it really is.

  • Wow that Brad Kane guy with a singing voice like that must've gotten laid till his dick fell off! Shit props to both of them, this is FRIGGIN AMAZINGLY AWSOME!

  • Jump to 1:54 TT

  • man she looks young and cute here! dam this was a good performance as their first time singing it. bam

  • A whole new world of Disney :)

  • those instrument players must have been in musical bliss.

  • both of them are adorable!

  • SO YOUNG AND ADORABLE! :DD

  • I love the way Lea Salonga sang this song... I can clearly understand her words while jessica, her english was kinda slangs so cant understand some of her words...

  • Oh my gosh, Brad Kane has Aladdin's eyebrows! I cannot tell you how much that delights me, his eyebrows were always my favorite feature. <3

  • Disney really needs to go back to this.

  • 3:16 is just so cute. too bad brad's old now

  • Leah was around 21 y.o. here

  • Chances are any kid who was born after this song, was conceived to it.

  • @TheMrBrendanMoore I was born the year this came out, so quite possible :')

  • never thought of the real people sing this song. It's just so amazing that I want to cry. I've just love both of them ^0^

  • over sideways - man, swooooon.

  • I miss the old Disney. All the movies they produce today dont have the same sparks like the old ones. Tangled was good but not that good, but the Toy Story 3 is an exemption.

  • 3:14 Haha, awww.

  • 2:31 holy moly that's the current concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic, Glenn Dicterow!

  • wtf 104 dislikes? You have no childhood.

  • watching the *actual* people singing this was SO CONFUSING for me... oh the golden age of disney. they worked such magic.

  • Lea, you are amazing. <3

  • @rocky97100 Hell yes!!! I would always pretend that I was in those movies right along side the characters!!

  • Growing up Mufasa was my father, Growing up Bambi's mother was my mother, Ariel was my sister, Peter pan was my younger brother, Hercules was my older brother, Esmeralda was my aunt, The Genie was my weird uncle, Woody & Buzz were my best friends, Baloo & Bagheera were my babysitters, The Dalmatians were my pets, Growing up Disney was my family. I'm proud to say I am a 90s kid. I know we probably can't do anything but if you had this childhood and want yourkids to as well, please repost this

  • nice seeing this one.. a song legacy in the disney world hehe^^

  • It's weird cause....the only faces I expect to see singing this are aladdin and Jasmine....so hearing those voices coming from real people is soooo odd. Anyways....the chick sounded exactly the same as she did in the movie...like, sang the notes in the exact same way.

  • Some people are so talented for singing..Beautiful!

  • I am SO SO SO thankful i grew up in the '90s so I could have a childhood filled with all the best disney movies. now disney has only crap.

  • @chakrafiend Same here, but after Tangled, although of course it doesn't beat all the Disney movies we grew up with, I have some hope that Disney is starting to bring back that same magic we both know and love.

  • @chakrafiend

I have to disagree! The most recent Disney animated movies -- notably Tangled and Princess and the Frog -- are as good as ANY of the films from the "second Golden Age" of Disney animation (Lion King, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast). There was a lot of crap back in the 1980s-90s too, including Hercules, Hunchback of Notre Dame, etc.

  • @KaplanMike I disagree. Hercules was an amazing movie and one of my top five favorites. I saw the two you mentioned and they can't compare.

  • lea should be on glee.

  • how can she have such a beautiful voice OMG!

  • Did she really say "not bad for a start"? I'd say it was truly perfect

  • Disney needs to get back to their roots. NO MORE CELEBRITY VOICE OVERS!!!!

Just because they are on the A-List, doesn't mean that they can do voice acting.

  • @Freedan111 You do realize that Disney has been using celebrities in their movies since Lady and the Tramp in 1955, right?

  • My God, and now he's a producer on FRINGE? Brad, I love you.

  • i use to watch this all the time when i was little

  • Well...let's have all the pop stars listen to this and we'll decide who's got talent.

  • @kennethdeatras Ugh thats o stupid

  • @TenWhoWereTaken You should see her now. She sure aged well.

  • They both have amazing voices, but since I'm a guy I want to sing like Brad Kane lol.

  • 104 people didn't have a childhood

  • he looks like zac efron

  • Amazing the original is always the best

  • god this song makes me cringe, even more so when Katie and peter tried to sing it! :S

  • When she came in, it was gg

  • Does anyone know what studio this is?

  • Wow solonga was young!!!

  • i got chills o.o

  • Can't stop replaying!!

  • WOAH. His voice is so sexy. I think I just fell in love!

  • wow filipinos are soo amazing to entertain the world

  • @TheAubreymaec lol, we try ;) ^_^

  • @lightningwu huh?

  • @TheAubreymaec lol, I'm a Filipino-American. I said we try to entertain the world :)

  • @lightningwu ^_^

  • i wouldnt mind letting brad take me on ride on his magic carpet... or anything else magical he might have

  • Too bad this isn't the exact recording from the movie. D:

  • i get chill bumps listening to him sing.

  • How he sings "splendid" ♥_♥

  • He's so cute<3

  • MAGIC

    tears just poured out

  • My dad's best used to sing this to me when i was little :3

  • @xoAngelKraftox Was he a good singer?

  • @TheToddy30 Yeah from what i can remember :)

  • her voice is so pretty :) and i use to love this part of the movie as a little girl- when they got into the song i still lit up

  • They look like they are in their teens or early twenties to me. Amazing glorious voices! unforgettable <3

  • @lalaluckii33194 i know right ! i think lea was 27? and brad like 25? i forgot lol.someone needs to look it up haha

  • @iLadyLaraCroft i think brad was only 19 then. he was pretty darn hot!

  • "Every moment red letter"? at 3:37

  • @ryeguyhead Yeah, because the lyrics IS red letter.
