hey i own a 2001 regal, i love it but it has a governor that stops it from accelerating at 110mph! can anyone help me out?

yeh get a pcm tune and tell the guy to remove the governor. Removing the governor should be part of the purchase

I have a programmer by Hypertech that takes out the governor. Just plug it in under the dash and run through the setup program and VOILA! no more governor. Plus you can do more tweaks with it.
