Anne was the school secretary at Campbellton School which was, is right next to the old Haig-Brown pasture.
She was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met, but I usually only saw her at school when I was in the Principal's office about to get "The Strap" and at our church.
Rod was also the town Magistrate.
He came down pretty heavy on wildlife offenders.
Rod wrote some great books and I have a first edition of "Mounted Police Patrol".
Rod and Anne Haig-Brown were both great people.
My parents had them over for dinner once.
They lived right across the river from us.
