I think you can, all you need is the driver but I did find the signal strength too useful

Ok I normally use WinTV via one of those USB things with my aerial plugged in to the back, but for some reason media center (vista) won't accept it just before searching for channels. Bit confused.

Hello, Landixon can you tell me what's the name of the second piece that you connected onto the tv tuner for the extra input. Also I tried to set up my tuner but the signal strength is low and also I dont have that additional piece that you have for the Antenna and the cable wire to plug into at the same time. Do I need both inputs to be plugged in?

with it being digital it either works or it doesn't and it worked ok for me but it depends on the signal in your area. It will work out side the uk but you will only get channels broadcasted locally

try going in to device manager and deleting the driver for the tuner then re-inserting the tuner and it should detect it and install the drivers

if anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated...i have a pinnacle pctv 880e usb tv tuner and it was working great with windows media center for months up untill about the begining of this month...when i click on the live tv button i get a "tunner Not Available" message. doing a channel rescan doesnt work ether in fact it says that no tuner was found. i have made NO changes to my hardware or software setup in my pc. but the tuner does work in another computer.....any ideas??
