@jpritch2 John I was at this show (evening show) as well. The screaming is pretty accurately captured. But it was a helluva lot louder. It sucked for me as the gals basically ruined the show for this then 11 year old kid. Some nutcase threw a cherry bomb that landed just in front of GH. I can't blame them for quitting touring as no one was paying attention to the MUSIC. Still a great memory I have.
I belive this show was at the height of the 'more popular than Jesus' thing, They were in fear for their lives here as the lp burnings were going on across the south. This was the end of Beatlemania..............what a ride..

I was at this concert! 5th grade...
really hard to hear. this is exactly what it sounded like.
