most producers find something that works and stick with it creating many varrients of the same tune, also there are trade mark sounds and tone sets that most djs use , this is very dark bad ass bass / shock and awe none the less dont be so judgmental as most comments i have seen on the dnb posts that you have done are negitive i will preassume you have never used these trax in a mix , as dj pleasure is one of the best to use in mixes

i cant help being negitive with this sound! its everywhere! its like all the producers have ran out of ideas so they just jump on the bandwagon and make this sound. i wuoldnt call this ' dark' either.. its comedy bass to me.. dark is stuff like messiah, violent killa, plankton, system mainframe etc.. all these producers.. pleasure, tax man, original sin, twisted individual.. they all sound the same.. and no.. i havent and wont mix this style, its just not interesting to me!!

I agree with u dazzle. This has nothing on the dark sound of Konflict, Noisia, Black Sun Empire Loxy/Ink etc etc. I think Jumpup like this is disposable and just a repeat of the same 32 or 64 bars over an over, made 5:41 minutes long so it's mixable. There is something original about Pleasure's sound, but I still think it's pretty lame. I wont be buying. Twisted Individual made some big tunes back in the day though...

the voice of reason! i agree with your thoughts also. none of these tunes will be looked back on, play today forget tomorrow because its all very similar. im not a huge fan of Twisted, but i do like the odd tune he made, handgrenade, wales remix.. i enjoy mixing tunes by the likes of dillinja, swift, dylan, shy fx, paradox, among a few others. not gonna be mixing any clown wobble anytime soon!

I don't agree with you guys because i think they mean with dark DNB because of the filthy basslines used in Jump up, of course not all of the jump up artists use filthy basslines but there are quite a lot and dont get me wrong I love dark DNB but i love dark Jump up 2!!!
