@Pitvp2 Xavi Hernandez is the greatest Spanish player of all time. Everything that Spain and Barcelona have been doing right for the past 4 years is largely due to his style of play. You could also argue that Villa should get more credit because when Spain had trouble scoring at the beginning of the campaign he took that burden on himself. But what that team will forever be remembered for is their passing game and for that I give Xavi more credit.

@reziboy100 true but i think xavi didn't play his best at wc 2010, he was good in portugal, but iniesta takes the cake, he was voted man of the match against chile, paraguay, and holland and came 2 in ballon d'or. Xavi was the best in euro 08 but he was ok in 2010,

@Pitvp2 I agree with you on that. Xavi was much better in Euro 08...and Iniesta is always a big game player. He always performs when he's in a big game. Like against Holland, Chelsea, Real Madrid, etc.

@StormSpark86 u need to relax. zidane was a big big part of that year and 1998 when they won but for both years, he had a great squad with him. i hate when people like u know nothing and talk like u know all. go check the squad players, its a great team

@optimusman88 I know what u mean, but the true is that whitout Zidane France was nothing, just look what happen in 2002 when he was injured, Henry, Trezeguet, Barthez, Vieira, Thuram, Makelele, all those great players were in that world cup, and they lost terribly, the same happened when they were trying to qualify to the 2006 world cup, they were at the edge of the disqualification and Zidane came back to play with France (because he had already retired of the national team in 2005)

@optimusman88 They won in 98 and 2000 with the help of everyone in the team, Thuram scoring, Barthez stopping penaltys, etc, but without Zidane they were lost, and actually i think they still lost... Ribery, Gourcuff, Anelka, Evra, Lloris, Benzema, Abidal, all those great player for what? they are making the clown in the big competitions, nothing in 08 and nothing in 10, i hope they can recuperate, and get used to the Post-Zidane era...
