Can you find a Dobro player to fill things out ? Amplified mandolin, violin and dobro (maybe a little hammer dulcimer) would really rock the house. Watch out for that mandolin the street-there's no man hole cover on it. Klezmetal ? Klezmer for the 21st. Century-The Evolution. I don't know-good work, though.

There is no way your playing... I've been playing the Mandolin for at least 30 years, the music doesn't match your movements, nice try though.

...I always carry spare CDs of klezmer music played on electric mandolins on me! ;o) The delay is a regrettable conseqence of my crappy webcam & the snail speed processor of my 6 year old PC...honest!

I'm currently tinkering with the idea of doing MUCH more contemporary-sounding CD album next year, of klezmer music, arranged for electric fiddle and electric mandolin - in stark contrast to my debut album, "King David's Lyre; Echoes of Ancient Israel",(which should HOPEFULLY be out by the end of September!). Does anyone out there, have any good suggestions for an album title???

It's a semi-acoustic mandolin - it has a built-in pickup at the bridge, with a built in preamp & EQ control...& I got it for only £140 from Hobgoblin Music, Manchester!
