  • That was great!! Very upbeat and happy. It reminded me of Clifford the big red dog. (Kind of a childish comparison, but that's really what it made me think of.) Excellent job! You rule, Leslie. :D

  • Nice analogy! :-)

  • Thanks! ^^ This song is so great... Makes me feel like running through a field of daisies or something. (Sorry if that sounds cheesy. ;) )

  • HI Lalaine :o) Yes, Clifford the big red dog... I'm definitely feeling that too. Thanks so much for the happy comments! ~fc

  • Hey Man! Thanks so much! Great to hear from you!!

  • You're AWESOME!! I've always wanted to be able to compose music like that.

Your playing and sharing has been such an inspiration to me. I'm looking at buying a piano so that I can start playing again. WoI sure wish you lived in Houston so that you sould be my teacher. :)

I'm hoping you get a chance to play those other Liz Story pieces!!

Thanks for the great spring piece!

  • Hi Cary :)

You know a great place to search for pianos:

University liquidation sales, craigs list, and estate sales.... thanx so very much again for the sweet comments, and sharing the Liz S. :) Musically yours, leslie ann

  • Leslie, Any thoughts on posting a rendition of those Liz Story pieces??? What are your thoughts on Knabe vs. Boston pianos? I'm looking at a 7' in those two brands.

    Cary

  • I couldn't have said it better myself, croger!

  • oh my gosh, HOW DO YOU DO THAT?! I only hope one day I will be as good as you... Great Job!!!

  • Hi piano player19955 :) Thanks so much! You'll definitley be able to do this sort of stuff... just give it a try, the basic chord structure was super easy, C G F in many different patterns and rhythms :) Just explore with what you can do technically and then push yourself a little further everytime :)

  • P.P.S. Viewed 94 times, and favorited twice already..........now I know what all the fuss is about!:-) lol

  • P.S. I love your dog walking around while you're playing a piece called "Spring Puppy". Super coreography! :-)

  • I FINALLY found a way to hear it.....and I LOVE it! It has all the feel of Frank Mills' "Music Box Dancer". Great stuff! Thanks so much! 5 stars......at LEAST!

  • Just for you Xavier! Enjoy it!! thanks for all the support!!!! Cheers friend!

  • You're the bomb, sweetie! :-) I hope you don't mind me calling you "sweetie".

  • I meant to say "da bomb"

  • Oh, you're MORE than welcome, darling! Keep 'em coming!

  • Many thanks Stella :)

  • Very fun! Agreed, captures the theme. I'm not much of a musician, but can vividly imagine a puppy playing when listening to this piece.

  • :) yeah.... me too :)

  • You are still terrific. This piece reminds me of David Bromberg's "The Holdup" but with much more variation and complexity.

  • Wildyoda, thanks :) I'll have to check out this Bromberg piece you mention. Thanks man!

  • Where can I find a video of that? I'd like to make the comparison.

  • Well played!!! 5 STARS

  • Many thanks patman :) (love your name!)

  • I can't tell whether you just made my heart stop, or start -- I am that startled by you amazing talent.

  • Why... thank you so very much :)

    Kris

  • aww Kris thanks so much :)

  • I couldn't agree with you more, Kris! This is just the kind of music to listen to when you're "get up, and go" done got up and went!

  • I meant to say YOUR "get up and go" done got up and went!

  • Fantastic tune. You captured the theme perfectly....

  • Hey thanks :) How's it going mrvolvo?? nice to hear from you :)

  • It's easy to see where the "Spring" part came from. Cute tune! :-)
