One of my favorite movies that is beautiful and in my opinion an amazing movie all around is What Dreams May Come. That is one that in my opinion truly hit the nail on the head. the mixture of emotion, imagination, beauty, story, plot, and morality. I just think its beautiful. The fountain is another one for me personally that does a great job at mixing beauty with a good story.
and though movies like pirates of the Caribbean 4 are nothing more then an attempt to ring all the money out of the pockets of its fans one last time don't forget that a lot does go into the movie itself. Many artists do work on the movie and they do it because they love art. look at the clothes or makeup or cg, every one of those were done by artists. I'll watch a movie if it looks pretty just to see the amazing work that they put into it. even if the movie sucks I can find something I like.

I just like the predator and I'll even watch the worst of the wost avp 1 & 2 just because its cool to see the predators in action even though the movies are horrible. Some people really like pirates and swords and fantasy so they might enjoy potc4 simply for that. I don't think many people raved that it was Oscar worthy or a film that should be remembered 4ever.

Maybe you should try a bit better script, slowing down, and not reading off the screen. It looks really bad. And if you slow down, you could enunciate better. Also, try just picking a room in your house to do a video in. The brightly colored backgrounds look absolutely wretched.

When I want a good story, I'll read a deep, well thought-out book. Why do movies have to be some vast story-telling masterpiece? When I watch a movie, I wanna see gunfights, explosions, high-speed cars, sexy barely clothed hotties, and some ass kicking. Well, personally, I prefer LOTS of ass kicking. Anyways, screw the story, show me the ass, put the peddle to the metal, bite down and ninja kick some badguys and if you're so hard up for a genius storyline, read a book.
