how come you don't have the talent that makes it so you have a 50% extra crit on frozen targets, i forgot what it's called but blizzard crits pretty much everytime if yo uget it and it helps alot for aoe grinding

no because then you can't be sure which mobs will freeze and which ones will chase you, and thus you won't be able to AoE them all

you are probobly either taking too much or really suck. Lol joking (except for the taking too much part) lol pvp specs cant really ruin it that bad, as long as you have improved blizzard your fine man...

step 1. gather (not too much with ice barrier)

step 2. ice block, frostnova and blink

step 3. blizzard infront of the mobs so when they get out of frost nova they walk into a pelting :P

look up Tommyz lvl 56 mage on Vek'nilash server and copy my spec, i got it from a aoe mage in my guild and hes lvled from 35 to 80 with aoe grinding

wtf man, do u have 0 critchance? a talent can give u 50% xtra critchance against frozen targets and another can make so youre blizzard gets a 15% to freeze target at each hit

when i leveled my mage, made me cry, when i had an imba pull got it down to cone of cold and they're all dead, then some son of a bitch would kill me ;'( so i forcome this, save ice block, mobs kill them = free honor and all the phat loot and exp :P

yeah dude its because hes fire didnt u see his blast wave? its a good idea but i think he loses mana quickly but its a better chance of staying alive because he has like 4 aoe spells rather than the 2 or so that u would have as full frost.

Dude you own hehe i hve a mage of my own whos pretty awsome, i tried to aoe grind with him its quite hard could u give some tips on what u use ( what spells ) and when u use them

pull mobs on mount its easier to do with melee mobs ( another tactic can also be done on casters i believe but anyway) iceblock so they all come close frost nova blink away use blizzard make sure mobs are in the back part of the cirlce ( with improved blizzard specc) do it again and again make sure mobs back part of it when they close again frost nova or arcane explosion if almost death and rinse and repeat once u can get ur water elemental u can use it for another frost nova befor ur cd is ove

The standard AoE spec is to go all frost until level 61, so from 50-60 he would have water elemental. At 61 you respec to get ice barrier and blast wave (0/21/31) because BW does a lot more for you than the elemental. Then you just keep dumping points back into your frost talents as you level up and you'll hit 70 essentially as 0/21/40.

If you take points in frostbite they dont walk together, so its harder to AoE grind then. So i prefer no point in Frostbite

you should have full points in imp blizz, shatter, and frostbite if you want to try this. also reccomend water elemental and making sure cold snap is up.

shatter = enemy in blizzard farm spec.

if you decide to spec for a cone of cold farm spec, only put 2/3 in imp blizzard, otherwise CoC won't overwrite the speed decrease.

"in frost we trust" is a pretty good frost mage lvling video.

Do not try to play warcraft in a big rush to get to 70, it takes away alot of the fun. Play battlegroudns go for some field marshals stuff, chill with friends, ITS NOT about getting 70 fastest, its about having fun

I guess if you specc frostbite this is gonna be hard, cause some mobs will be frozen and some not. I don't think (of what I can see) that u have specced frostbite. Think I'll do the same on my mage=D
