@medicaltechstudent Multiply and Divide are the same level!! He said that several times...and are done left to right... if you're confused :) Write the division as multiply then work it :) so 16/4*2 is 16*(1/4)*2

@medicaltechstudent you have to remember that multiplication and division are at the same level. So you have to divide 16/4 before you multiply by 2.

14 + 16/4x2

14 + 4 x 2

14 + 8

The reason this works is because multiplication is the inverse of division. 16/4 is really the same thing as 16 x 1/4... either way you look at it the answer would be 4.

i know the answer is -55 but i dont know how to get the answer.

(-2)-5=-7 squared = 49-(-6)= 55

why isnt it -55?
