This is one of my favorite Capoeira videos. Its good to actually see the game be played between two practioners rather than just two Capoeiristas doing as many flips as they can. I've been training Capoeira for about 6 years now. Good stuff.

Felicitaçoes!!! Ainda bem que tem outros grupos fora do Brasil mostrando a capoeira como ela é e nao como "palhaçada" onde só fazem floreio sem jogo de Capoeira.

Maybe they really love each other and it's a bit of "rough play" :P nothing wrong with it imo... shows how Capoeira can actually be used as a martial art. Less all the Floreiros :)
I actually prefer the gritty hands on game these guys play to my group. Then again I'm only a beginner maybe we get rougher as we go along.
It is a pity you can't hear the real music. I know it is hard to record berimbaus but there is complete capoeira-music on CDs. perhaps you could just get one of those and use it as a background. That'd be authentic.
Hmmh, no it would not be authentic, because the video features são bento gr. e benguela jogos. Using a certain toque for background music would not be correct.

Yeah, of course I could. But remember that Capoeira is played TO the music.
Taking a capoeira song from a CD would even fit less than non-capoeira music.
