Fielder and his 200 million dollar dreams can go, its very very very VERY common for 'bigger' AKA fat players, to have a major drop off in productivity after 30-31, and he wants an eight to ten year deal worth 200 million or more. The Brew-Ha's cannot afford that, I say let Prince walk, and get/keep pitching. Either way 8 > 28.

But because his career will most likely be short (as you have stated), I want the best of them to in Milwaukee. He also has an extremely high on base % to back up Brauny. Undeniably he is a major factor in Milwaukees 'Powerful' lineup. I will hate to see him go, but will always love the Crew regardless. Peace convict

@ballrude1 ...I hate to say it even at the rate he's driving in runs in April, the brewers would be better off without him (financially) and possibly be better off picking someone up in free agency or via trade's. And I agree, I would like to see him in Milwaukee too, but not for the amount of money he wants to get paid, would be a complete waste to sign prince to a 25-30 mil a year deal when its 1/3 of their budget. But time will tell, people smarter than us especially me, will decide his fate.

Braun doesn't have BSG's high leg kick. BSG, however, NAILS Jason Kendall; and he's pretty good with "old" Craig Counsell and Paul Molitor. His Mike Schmidt would be perfect, except that he finishes high, whereas Schmidt finished low.

 Given his second-lowest RBI total and the lowest batting average of his career in '10, I hope Prince is trying to perfect HIS swing, rather than imitate that of anybody else. By the way, I'm a lifelong WI resident who's followed the Brewers since 1971:) --
