  • this etude is really old school back in the early renaissance nobody used thumbs at all

  • @RediForKing false.

  • @smithersj90 false

  • Psht! I could do this in my sleep. (While I'm dreaming)

  • That is CRAZY!!! I love how he doesn't look at the piano half the time.... lol

  • That is CRAZY!!! I love how he doesn't look at the piano half the time.... lol

  • Awesome technique! I play this piece too!

  • looks so challenging, this piece would take FOREVER to learn im sure.

  • The sound isn't that good but he is

  • I can play this adequately at 1/284 the speed.

  • *stands up to bows and then a cd player falls out of his jacket* haha just kidding but man you have got some skill i it took more than twenty minutes to learn that :)

  • Impressive, impressive talent.

  • Molto noioso.

  • this iz crazy O_O

  • this is technic not music

  • but still admirable, redhairdevil

  • @redhairedevil Are you kidding me? Even in his fucking etudes Debussy can make it sound emotional.

  • your fingers think for themselves

  • holyness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dude u got some serious fast fingers that know where they gotta go!

  • so this is the talent !

  • omg...do you really have to play this without using your thumbs????!!?!?!

I think I'd need a big big big big self-control!!!!!

  • This piece is no piece of cake even using the thumbs. So habituated are pianists to using all 10 fingers that it takes a great deal of concentration to avoid "cheating."

  • The thumbs are so silly anyways...who needs them? Sean doesn't...he still plays well without 'em...

  • i wish the sound on this recording was just a little clearer... beautiful performance though, really lovely.

  • You did an excellent job!!!!

  • Wonderful virtuoso playing. This is what i call Debussy music

  • What does the music look like!?

  • Whoa thats neat!

  • Very nice. More Debussy etudes please!
