My PSP seems to hate sleeping. Holding the power for even the smallest bits of time makes it turn off.

SLEEP MODE= Just flick the power switch to go into sleep mode.

OFF MODE= Hold the power switch for 3 seconds to turn the PSP off.

I was plying careless the other day, for like 6 hours and my battery died, just plugged the PSP to the AC and kept playing where i left, its good to know that works that way too

not really, no it doesnt. but often if you leave it in sleep mode for way too long the power will go down just a bit. so i keep my psp plugged in when I put mine in sleep mode over night.
