  • Biafra in our hearts, soon it will actualised

  • Onwere aka na aku ogene gbogbo. Umu Biafra ji si nu ike. Biafr GA ADI!

    CHINEKE GOZIE UNU O!

  • hail Biafra. Igbo ga adi

  • what they are wearing down is not how igbos dress. lol.

  • what they are wearing is Igbo atire. My village masqurade/ Nmawu dance dress like that.

  • i know but they are doing it as igbo cultural dressing not Mmawu. i know mmawu that is what they wear.

  • You do know all Igbo peoples do not share the exact same culture but rather just an underlying one? Just because they don't wear raffia skirts in your part of Igboland or because you haven't seen it being worn before doesn't mean its not traditional Igbo dress.

  • whatever

  • Even the ogele dancers wear same thing and the are beating a nice ogele dance, just beatiful... lol

  • yes the ogene is nice but their dressing is 1799 igbo tradition. not old igbo tradition.

  • lol 1799... isn't that too far to be old lol

do you have any interpretation for their theatre?

  • no u dont understand. i mean what they are wearing is 1799 igbo tradition. which is very old. normal old igbo tradition (before England came to Africa) is rappa tied round the waist. so they are not wearing old igbo tradition but 1799 igbo tradition.

  • Queston- where do you think rappa came from?

  • Let it come from wherever. all i know is that what they are wearing is not igbo traditional cloth but Masqurade dress.

  • wow I am impressed with Igbos in Canada. U make me proud.

    What event was this?
