I thought that score was too high. Overall, the dance was weaker than his Cha Cha in spote of the choreography being great. He was moving his hips, which he should've done, and his footwork was pretty heavy. I would've given him a 7, not a 9.

i loved this song and was amazed at what cheryl did with the choreography for a quickstep. Gilles really is good for only the second week. there was so much content to this dance.

@jimmbboe yeah you notice that the producers always pick songs that aren't right for that style at all and ends up being used against them i.e. lance and lacey's paso in season 7 to "I kissed a girl" because sometimes they look at the song more than the dance

Yes he is married. His wife is in the audience every week and their son has been in the audience too. He even came to one of Gilles' rehearsals with Cheryl. He loves his wife very much and is a faithful and loving father to his son. Definitely a family man; he says he brings his family with him mostly wherever he goes!

I have to say Gilles has a beautiful line. His height (6'1) gives him a great advantage and Cheryl is a very strong partner so one doesn't have the impression that he's dragging her around like some of the (less accomplished) ladies and their partners.

I was thinking the Quick Step is kind of a goofyish dance with all the bunny hops.

Gilles made it hot and sexy with his semi-subdued Clark Kent and the AWESOME finish when 'Superman' finally rips his shirt open!!! ROWR!!! :D♥♥♥

Melissa/Tony & Lil' Kim/Derek.

I felt those two had the strongest dances of the night.

I just felt like Melissa did a great job, and Lil' Kim and Derek had some of the hardest choreography...the only reason they scored lower was because they weren't close enough during the routine....which can easily be fixed!

Don't get me wrong Gilles did AMAZING, but his quickstep wasn't as complex as Lil' Kim & Derek's and I think they both danced them really well.

It wasn't as complex but Gilles executed the techniques smoothly and properly.Lil Kim techniques were poor and Melissa was off at times.Cheryl and Gilles also had the worst music that night and i'm surprise that they pulled it off.

Easy for you to say that they had the best dance because it was upbeat and fast, while Gilles had a very boring music but very solid dance.
