@Mikontisott - perfectly natural homosexuality is an oxymoron, since nature desires male and female copulation to preserve the species.
What Sy has done, and is doing, is saying 'No' to his flesh and 'Yes' to Christ. As a celibate hetero, I do the same and am very proud of him. He is married, but as he says "Does that prove I'm not gay? NO!" - "But without obedience, I would not be blessed..."
We have different battles. He's helping us ALL to obey and trust Christ.
Couldn't they find a guy to be the head of an "ex gay" ministry that didn't speak with a woman's voice or have the mannerisms of Queen Mary?? I kind of don't get the whole thing. Doesn't the Bible have a verse about effeminate men not inheriting the kingdom of Heaven? Or wait, did they throw that one out along with all the other ones Christians ignore, because they were for "other times"? How about women speaking in church, or putting to death anyone caught in adultry.
Sy is the man!!! Have seen him speak numerous times, have had the pleasure of meeting him too. God moves amazingly through his stories and the grace Jesus has shown in his life!
Isn't it great that man may look upon the outward appearance and 'judge' as some comments below have....but that the LORD looks at the heart and intention.
Well, Sy Rogers was not actually a homosexual. He was a heterosexual who, by his own testimony, was molested, and deprived of gender edification, causing him to seek male effection and even go so far as to seek a sex change to feel adequate. He is not "ex-gay". He was never gay. He was a deeply emotionally and sexually wounded heterosexual whom the Lord has healed and restored to HIS natural heterosexual identity. That is VERY different from homosexual identity.
I think it is fantastic a gay man can have kids and the church is accepting him, Bravo to whatever church this is, would you mind talking to the Catholics?
Sy's lovable character makes it easy for learning about God in a cheerful way...this Angel Story could heard over again several times & it'll still sound good!
Sy, is a fantastic communicator and I loved hearing him at 3 different events while he was living in NZ. We all went home going 'teeter totter, teeter totter. ;-)
@mikontisott Jesus social circle was the "worst" kind of people who were excluded in their days. He showed the greatest possible love! why don't we Christ-ians do the same now?
We all deserve hell but thank God, through the blood Jesus, we don't have to go there. We have more value if we accept the gospel!

@Popinion7 Straight people do not have the desire to suck cock. Why do you equate perfectly natural homosexuality with a calamity? Bigotry!
