yeah i play the drums too. I've been playing for six years now and I'm 13. But about the ear thing, yeah i know what your talking about because I used to get that all the time. It annoyed the fuck out of me so I got these Vic Firth Wireless isolation headphones to protect my hearing and they really help. They stop the ear ringing and protect your hearing.

get ear protection before you ruin your hearing, chances are you room hasn't enough furniture in it and your sound is echoing and rebounding around the room. i wear ear defenders that are worn in workshops around machines. does the trick perfectly.

In general though, Frank Bellucci, Virgil Donati, Vinny Colaiuta and Steve Smith and Thomas Lang are the most profound drummers in the world. Look em up. Chris Adler sucks, and most drummers from any other metal band sucks. For serial.

Chris Adler the best, lol. Listen to some old underoath and listen to Aaron Gillespie. He is one of the best drummers hands down. Listen to the solo in the beginning of giving up what hurts and the drum beats throughout the song. Lamb of god sucks a fat one anyways. Most people only like laid to rest and thats about it.
