  • hey i like your kit Collin but i have an improvement idea. That knife you have is small and ive seen those folding razor knives which are about the same size. they also lock and the extra blades are really thin so it would make a better use of the space. what do you think about this?

  • @96mrluke Thanks my friend, I think that idea of the folding razor knife is a really good one, I need to pick some up.

  • it occurred to me that while everyone has duct tape in their kits, if you wrap it around wax paper, you would sake space and weight and also not lose any tape to to it being stuck to cardboard

  • @psychomikeo500 Interesting idea my friend, perhaps I shall give it a try in the future

  • what are waterproof matches?

  • @propcomicdoinyourmom Well in theory they will work if they get wet, they have a protective coating on them to prevent moisture ruining the match

  • @ColinOutdoors oh thanks :)

  • @propcomicdoinyourmom No problem mate, thanks for watching :-)

  • @ColinOutdoors i also like the survival kit video.that was really cool :D

  • ha,ha you talk funny :)

  • @brushhead100 Lol, thanks

  • You might want to use a credit card of something similar so the duct tape does not wana stick to the cardboard.

  • @fryyourass28 Thanks mate I have been using the credit card system for about a year now.

  • Excellent vids!

If you ever need an even smaller knife than this, check out the Spyderco Bug. It's really tiny, superb quality and like other Spyderco's very, very sharp. Great for a keyring (that's where mine lives)

  • @HOXTON13 Thank you my friend. Yeah I have heard great things about the Spyderco Bug, hopefully I can pick one up in the future

  • great video dude. just a suggestion the way you have the matches packed they could light up in your pack its never happend to me but i have heard story's about it . maybe you can put the striker in a smaller bag and put it in the bag with the matches.

  • Good idea dude, i'll be sure to keep the striker seperate from the matches.

  • Hi mate, just a tip, you can use duct tape for fire starting. try it sometime. CHEERS

  • Well my understanding of the mirror is that you can look at your compass bearing and the landmark your navigating to at the same time, essentially line the landmark up. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment dude :-)

  • id sudgest some kind of realy small fishing kit, a small fire steel without a handle, some type of tinder, and snare wire

  • Cool suggestions dude, some really good ideas, thanks

  • your compass takes up half your kit space

  • True, however its the compass case and probably the most used item in it. Thanks for viewing
