You Guys & Gals are Sick! --- Now Grant the Book is always better in most cases then the Movie, But You Guys and Gals who didn't get anything out of it --- Solely is because you all couldn't relate to the Characters in some way shape and Form which ultimately draws a dis-interest.... Yeah "Poetic about life" sure I give you that because there was some Life Lesson in here but this movie isn't for those who are just stuck on the Externalizations of things then this isn't for you.

The reason is so simple... there is no fancy effects and goddam robots or even pie-fucking in the film.. Most of the audience will never enought intelligent to understand deeper messages.. :S So sad, but our society is rotting right before our eyes .S

There are actually six intersecting story lines. This review forgot to mention the father and son hawaii trip and also the reporter and major entertainment exec's affair.

Dont take Rotten Tomatoes as the authority for movie reviews. They are more often then not showing that they stick to a specific taste and almost formula like procedures when casting their reviews.

i agree with whoever said that the informers was a good film. i liked it a lot. i'll admit that it takes a certain type of person to appreciate a film like this, and even ellis himself was unhappy with the final cut. that being said, i don't think that this was the best ellis adaptation, but it was a damn good one.
